Create your Caspen workspace
Start your journey with Caspen by creating a new workspace. This guide walks you through your first steps so you can get set up with confidence.
Overview
If you are new to Caspen, your first step is to create your own workspace. The person who creates the workspace automatically becomes the Account Owner, with full control over billing, user access, and managing workspace settings. This activates your free 30-day trial, and your whole team can join too.

How to create your workspace
When you sign up to Caspen, you are creating a workspace for your practice. This is where you will manage clients, appointments, billing, and settings. You can start solo and invite others later if your team grows.
Go to caspen.com and click Start free trial.
Follow the prompts to set up your account and workspace.
What you will need
Have these details ready:
First and last name
Email address
Business name
Secure password
Mobile number - used to verify your account
Adding your payment details
We recommend adding your credit card during your trial if you want uninterrupted access once it ends.
If a card is added, your trial will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription.
If no valid card is added before your trial ends, your subscription will cancel and workspace access will be removed until a payment method is added.
Note:
You will receive a reminder email before your trial ends
You can manage your plan or cancel anytime under Settings → Subscription.
Billing applies only to Practitioner and Practitioner Admin roles. All other roles can be added at no extra cost.
Who is the Account Owner?
The person who creates the workspace is the Account Owner. The Account Owner has full control over:
Manage billing and subscription details
Control user access and permissions
Configure workspace level settings
Create and manage API keys
For more details about Account Owner permissions, see the Roles and permissions guide.
