# Use Zoom for telehealth appointments

Here’s how to set up telehealth in Caspen and host your session on Zoom.

### **Create Zoom meetings automatically**

Once Zoom is connected to a practitioner account, you can choose which services should automatically create Zoom meetings.

Go to **Settings → Catalog → Services**.

**Edit the services** you want Zoom meetings to be created for, then turn on the **Create Zoom meeting** toggle.

This will automatically create a Zoom meeting for each new appointment booked for that service, whether it is booked online or scheduled through the calendar.

### **Create Zoom Meetings from the calendar**

**1. Open an appointment**

Go to the **Calendar**. Click on your appointment.

**2. Create a Zoom meeting**

In the appointment panel, click **Create Zoom meeting**.

Caspen will automatically generate a Meeting ID and password.

**3. Share the link with your client**

* Click **Copy invite link** to copy the full Zoom link.
* **Important note:** Caspen does not send Zoom details on your behalf. Copy the link and share it with the client by email or SMS. If your Zoom settings do not embed the passcode, include the meeting ID in your message to the client. To help, we’ve included ready to copy message templates below.

Use one of the templates below to send the Zoom details to your client by email or SMS.

**4. Start your session**

When it’s time for the appointment, in the Calendar, click on your appointment and then click **Start meeting** from the appointment panel to launch Zoom.
