Setting up telehealth appointments
Learn how to book Telehealth appointments, share the Zoom link, and start sessions from your Caspen calendar.
Once your Zoom account is connected to a practitioner profile in Caspen, you can create Zoom Meetings directly from the calendar. Haven’t connected Zoom yet? Follow our Set up Zoom integration guide.
Here are the steps to set up telehealth in Caspen and host your session on Zoom:
1. Open an appointment
Go to the Calendar. Click on your booking appointment.

2. Create a Zoom meeting
In the appointment panel, click Create Zoom meeting.

Caspen will automatically generate a Meeting ID and password.

3. Share the link with your client
Click Copy invite link to copy the full Zoom link.
Caspen does not send Zoom details on your behalf. Copy the link and share it with the client by email or SMS. If your Zoom settings do not embed the passcode, include the meeting ID in your message to the client.

4. Start your session
When it’s time for the appointment, in the Calendar, click on your appointment and then click Start meeting from the appointment panel to launch Zoom.


You are all set. You can now book and run telehealth appointments with Zoom in Caspen.
